Man City captain Vincent Kompany dismisses Man Utd top four threat

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has dismissed the top four threat of Manchester United.

City faltered to a 2-2 draw at Middlesbrough on Sunday coming from behind twice.

But Kompany insists the threat of United won't unsettle them, saying: “There is not one single doubt in our minds that we'll get the job done.

"It goes to show the Premier League is really special – it's very unpredictable, and we knew with United drawing at home we had a big chance.

"We will do everything we can to win the last four games but in our heads it's not about looking at one game we don't have to win, or looking at one game above another.

“Every game is priority for us and we approach every game in that way anyway.

"It's not been performance that has been the issue, it's been about key moments and the way we handle them.

“With that in mind there is nothing else on our minds but to finish strongly and we will have to start well because the first minutes are equally as important as the last minutes in the game."
